- Whole Wheat & Multi-Grain
Ancient Grains- We created this bread to celebrate our 15th birthday and our commitment to honoring food traditions. This hearty loaf is made with organic Emmer, organic Amaranth and Teff flours, which have been cultivate for thousands of years and remain virtually untouched by modern plant science. We added organic dried cranberries and organic sliced almonds for a lively texture and hint of sweetness. 90% Organic
Desem- A traditional Flemish 100% organic whole wheat sourdough that is sumptuous, dense, and tangy with an even crumb. Desem complements strongly flavored soups and salads, and also makes a great sandwich bread. USDA Organic
Mille Grane- This loaf, whose name means “many grains” in Italian, is our signature organic whole grain multi-grain. With a satisfying crunch and bursts of flavor from lots of organic whole seeds and grains, this bread has no equal. Cara Mia- Available around Valentine’s Day, this loaf is made with chocolate bread kissed with chocolate chunks and cherries. We wrap a sweet French bread around the chocolate bread for a two-toned, heart-shaped loaf that is fun to share.
Irish Soda Bread- Before you fill up on beer on St. Patrick’s Day, make sure to try our traditional recipe that boasts a golden crust, soft, creamy crumb, a sprinkling of currants and a cross cut in the top "to let the fairies out." Kobe Bun- A rich, buttery bun made to enhance flavors and stand up to even the juiciest burgers, topped with a light sprinkling of fennel and sesame seeds. Available Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Sweet Potato Pecan- This fall and winter specialty is versatile and gives sweet potatoes a new life – no marshmallows required! Whole roasted, organic sweet potatoes lend a velvety texture and a generous sprinkling of pecans adds texture a nutty flavor. Try it as the base for a strata with leeks, peas, and mushrooms for an yummy vegetarian holiday meal. 92% Organic
Sweet Perrin- Certainly one of our most popular seasonal loaves, Sweet Perrin is made with organic fresh Bosc pears, organic roasted hazelnuts and organic figs. This naturally sweet, yeasted bread is topped with a “crackle” glaze and is a true winter treat. Makes great toast or serve with a high quality Stilton or Gorgonzola and prosciutto. Pan de Muerto- Our lead baker, Javier Mejia, bakes this traditional Mexican sweet loaf made with eggs, butter, and flavored with anise. A specialty for Day of the Dead festivities when deceased friends and loved ones are remembered and celebrated. Available late October through early November.
